I love doing The Work; it is yoga for my mind. When I first came to The Work, it was after the realization that just because I have a thought, does not make it true. Up until 2006, my life was lived with the belief that if I thought something, it was true and if you thought something different, you were wrong and I was right. Through doing inquiry, I have found the joy in examining my stressful thoghts and finding turnarounds.

Our three grown children were adopted in the USA as infants, familyand I am the founder and developer of numerous adoption sites, including http://adopting.org. I have also published numerous adoption papers and two books for children about adoption. I am familiar with all kinds of issues surrounding the adoption triad. Our three children in open adoptions.

Other issues that are important to me are body image, weight control, anorexia, bulimia, self esteem, marriage and family, small business formation, working as a physical therapist, experience as a member of the Air Force, experience as a flight attendant, work at NASA, business failure, health and fitness and issues of aging.

Most of my work with others has to do with people in recovery from alcohol and drug abuse. This is my history. I use The Work in conjunction with the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. My faith is a source of power and strength to me. If you would like to renew your mind and get free of your stressful thoughts, feel free to give me a call or email me.
